Corporate yacht charter from Bali — incentives, retreats and events

Private phinisi and motor-yacht charters for groups of twenty to eighty and above, from a half-day off Benoa to a five-day incentive cruise into Komodo. Built around the objective rather than the boat.

20–80+
guests, single or combined vessels
4 hrs–5 days
half-day charter to incentive cruise
$5,000+
per charter, not per head

Formats

Three shapes, three kinds of programme

Every route is customised, but these are the formats that actually get requested — and the ports they run from.

4–8 hrs

Half-day and full-day, Bali and the Nusa islands

Departing Benoa Harbour or Serangan in south Bali. A morning sail along the Nusa Penida coast with a light session in the saloon, a snorkel stop and lunch; or a late-afternoon sunset charter with cocktails, a short presentation and networking off Sanur or Nusa Dua.

Rule of thumb

Off-sites, client days, launches

2D1N–3D2N

Short retreat, Bali to the Nusas or Lombok

Leaving Benoa or Serangan, or Senggigi and Bangsal if you are already in Lombok. Day one crosses to Nusa Penida or Lembongan with a workshop on the upper deck and dinner at anchor; day two runs a morning strategy session before heading on.

Rule of thumb

More depth without flying to Flores

4D3N–5D4N

Incentive cruising, Lombok to Komodo

The high-impact option stages out of Lombok: Bangsal or Senggigi, then the Gilis, the Sumbawa coast, Komodo National Park and Labuan Bajo. Four days three nights eastbound; five days four nights in reverse.

Rule of thumb

Staging nights in Lombok if needed

What a corporate charter carries

We keep logistics, permits and safety on our side so your event team can concentrate on content and guests.

  • 01 Private use of the yacht or phinisi for your group, half-day through five days
  • 02 Custom route planning around Bali, the Nusas, the Gilis, or Lombok–Komodo–Labuan Bajo
  • 03 Indonesian and English-speaking crew with a cruise director and licensed captain
  • 04 Air-conditioned en-suite cabins on multi-day charters, boat-dependent
  • 05 Daily housekeeping, bathroom amenities, towels and linens
  • 06 All meals on board, with snack breaks timed around your session schedule
  • 07 Meeting layouts: the saloon or a shaded deck set for presentations or round tables
  • 08 Onboard sound system for music and announcements
  • 09 Event styling guidance — banners, logos and corporate colours within vessel limits
  • 10 Ground transfers from central Bali, or Senggigi and Bangsal, on request
  • 11 Fuel, harbour fees and standard cruising permits for the agreed route
  • 12 Basic trip insurance and safety equipment

Higher-touch add-ons

Brand activations and product launches on deck. A professional MC, DJ or acoustic band. An underwater photographer or drone operator, subject to local rules. Beach barbecue setups at approved locations, premium food and beverage packages, team-building and wellness facilitators, and airport meet-and-greets.

Where it goes further

Tell us your AV requirement early. Saloon presentation setups vary a lot by vessel, and it is cheaper to pick the right hull than to retrofit the wrong one.

The fleet

Selected on headcount, not on looks

Group size, cabin requirement, style and budget decide the hull. All of them carry licensed captains and crew, lifejackets and emergency equipment sized to capacity, first aid and communications, and permits for the cruising grounds in question.

16–30+ guests

Traditional phinisi

The liveaboard workhorse of the Lombok to Labuan Bajo route, and the right hull for a mid-size incentive group wanting the full Komodo programme.

  • Multiple en-suite air-conditioned cabins
  • Large open decks for awards and cocktails
  • Indoor salon with AV options
  • Used on our Lombok–Komodo route

15–60+ guests

Motor yachts and day boats

For day-based events around Nusa Penida, Nusa Lembongan or the Bali mainland coast, where speed and a steady deck matter more than cabins.

  • Stable hulls and catamarans for faster crossings
  • Open and shaded space for networking
  • High-capacity tenders for quick shore transfers
  • No overnight accommodation required

60–100+ guests

Combined fleet

For larger programmes we run several vessels and synchronise activities, briefings and catering across them.

  • Multiple boats on one timetable
  • Shared briefing and catering schedule
  • Tender movement between hulls
  • Usually day-based

Scale and cost

Priced per charter, not per delegate

The published planning range runs from around $5,000 for a compact half-day near Bali up to $60,000 and above for a multi-day private phinisi incentive cruise into Komodo.

Executive retreat

8–14 guests

Luxury cabins and high privacy. Typically a short charter with a real agenda rather than an incentive programme.

From $5,000

  • Half-day and full-day charters from Benoa or Serangan
  • Saloon set for a round table
  • High privacy, small crew-to-guest ratio
  • Ground transfers from central Bali

Mid-size incentive

15–30 guests

A full phinisi liveaboard or a single yacht. The band most Komodo incentive programmes sit in.

$18,000 guide

  • 4D3N Lombok to Labuan Bajo
  • All guests in private en-suite cabins
  • Open-air sessions on deck during crossings
  • Padar, Pink Beach and Manta Point in the reward agenda

Large programme

40–100+ guests

Larger day yachts or a combined fleet, usually day-based. Event complexity rather than duration drives the number here.

Up to $60,000+

  • Several vessels on one synchronised timetable
  • AV, entertainment and branding
  • Premium food and beverage packages
  • Beach barbecue setups at approved locations

Five things move the figure: duration, route, boat class, cabin requirement against day use only, and event complexity. Park fees, premium alcohol and specialist AV are always itemised separately.

Which base

Bali day cruising, or a Lombok–Komodo route

Base it in Bali

Pick this when delegates fly into Denpasar and the programme has to fit around hotel nights and meeting rooms. Departures from Benoa or Serangan reach Nusa Penida and Lembongan easily, and guests are back the same evening. It also scales: sixty to a hundred guests are far simpler day-based.

Run it to Komodo

Pick this when the trip is the reward. It stages out of Lombok — Bangsal or Senggigi, with staging nights before sailing if needed — and finishes in Labuan Bajo with flights back to Bali. Four days three nights eastbound, five days four nights in reverse.

If you are not sure

Send us the brief and we will map both with indicative pricing and timing, including how the sailing days line up with the Labuan Bajo flight schedule. That comparison is usually what settles it.

Process

We run it as a project, not a booking

01

Brief and objectives

Dates and flexibility, guest count and cabin requirement, event type, preferred route, and the non-negotiables — meeting hours, branding, dietary restrictions, special activities.

02

Vessel and route proposal

One or more vessels that match your size and style, a draft itinerary by day and by half-day, pricing in USD and rupiah, and clear notes on what is excluded.

03

Hold, contract and deposit

A short hold on the yacht while paperwork is prepared, then a contract and invoice with a payment schedule. Terms differ by vessel class and season and are stated at proposal stage.

04

Programme design

Session timings, awards, photo shoots, the rooming list, dietary requirements, transfers from Bali, Senggigi or Mataram hotels, and any entertainers, photographers or facilitators.

05

Handover to your team

A consolidated event pack and a contact chain for the people running it on the ground.

For longer Lombok–Komodo sailings we also align arrival and departure windows with the weekly sailing pattern and the Labuan Bajo flight schedule before the contract goes out.

Planner questions

What event teams ask first

All questions

From around $5,000 for a compact half-day charter near Bali, up to $60,000 and above for a multi-day private phinisi incentive cruise sourced from Lombok and ending in Labuan Bajo. It is quoted per charter, not per person.

Eight to fourteen on a small executive retreat, and fifteen to thirty on a full phinisi or single yacht. Forty to a hundred and above needs larger day yachts, or a combined fleet with synchronised activities and catering.

Benoa Harbour or Serangan in south Bali for the Nusa islands and the mainland coast. The multi-day Komodo programme stages out of Lombok instead, from Bangsal or Senggigi.

Within the limits of the vessel, yes — banners, logos and corporate colours. We give styling guidance at proposal stage rather than promising what a particular hull cannot carry.

Yes. The saloon or a shaded deck is set for presentations or round tables, with snack breaks timed around the schedule and a sound system for announcements. Confirm your AV needs early.

We do. Licensed Indonesian captains and crew, lifejackets and emergency equipment sized to capacity, first aid and communications, and permits for Bali, the Nusa islands, Lombok and Komodo.
