The four elements
It is not the villa on its own. It is the logistics disappearing — guide, boat, driver and stay arranged around the forecast rather than booked separately.
Quoted before you arrive
Guiding, boats and transfers are confirmed in writing before you land. Groceries for a private chef, extra board rental and optional photography are billed at cost, set out in advance.
Where it goes further
If a MotoGP race week at Mandalika lands in your dates, plan around it or book early — south-coast accommodation tightens sharply that week.
The breaks
South Lombok holds a beginner beach break and one of Indonesia's heaviest lefts within an hour of each other. The guide matches the break to the group, not the other way round.
Bangko-Bangko · experts only
Lombok's signature wave on the remote south-west tip: a long, hollow left that ranks among Indonesia's best barrels on a solid mid-year swell.
The workhorse
Fifteen minutes east of Kuta Mandalika, with several peaks a short boat ride from the fishing village and something rideable on almost any tide.
Empty water
A quieter peninsula in the south-east, reached by road or a scenic boat crossing. Many mornings the line-up belongs to your group alone.
Either end of the scale
Selong Belanak is the gentle beginner wave the coast is known for. Mawi and Are Guling sit at the other end, for advanced surfers chasing power.
Between sessions
We source private villas within reach of Kuta Mandalika, Gerupuk and Selong Belanak, so a dawn boat, a two-to-three-hour session and breakfast by the pool fit one relaxed morning.

How it is booked
Surf levels, dates and the non-surf priorities — honeymoon, family, or a dedicated surf week.

The dry season, May to October, brings the most consistent swell and is Desert Point's prime window. Book six to eight weeks ahead for the strongest villas and guides.
No. Selong Belanak and the inside peaks at Gerupuk suit beginners and improvers with a coaching-focused guide. Desert Point and Outside Ekas stay reserved for experienced surfers.
Most groups we plan include at least one. Boat charters, villa pools, spa treatments and Gili day trips are built in, so partners have a full holiday while the surfers are out.

For the May–October dry season, six to eight weeks is a safe minimum. Race-week dates around the Mandalika MotoGP need the earliest lead time of the year.
Gerupuk, Ekas and Desert Point are boat-access. A boat and skipper booked in advance is the difference between surfing at first light and negotiating on the sand at seven.
