About
Who is behind Luxury Lombok
A reference site for travellers arriving in Lombok and the Gilis, written coast by coast — and a desk that books the same stays, boats and transfers it describes.
- since 2015
- Juara Holding Group has hosted in this region
- 4,725 km²
- the island this site covers
- 2.5 hrs
- fast boat, Bali to Lombok
What this site is
A coastal gazetteer, with a desk behind it
Most of what is written here answers the questions arriving travellers actually ask: which coast to base on, what the water costs, and how the days join up. The same team answers them in a message.
- Part of Juara Holding Group, hosting in this region since 2015
- Stays, boats, land days and transfers answered by one desk
- Figures published as dated ranges rather than rounded promises
- Written for people who have already booked a flight

How we work
The rules this site is written under
None of these are difficult. They are simply the lines that decide what gets published and what gets left out.
- 01 Stays are shortlisted by hand, not pulled from a listing feed
- 02 Every figure is dated, and published as the range it really is
- 03 Where nothing is published, the page says Ask for price rather than guessing
- 04 We say plainly when a stay is brokered through us and when we are only pointing
- 05 Drivers, guides and boat crews are people we work with repeatedly
- 06 Village and park rules come before a slightly better photograph
What you will not find here
No invented street address, no stock office photograph, no award nobody can check. If a claim is not defensible, it does not go on the page — that is the whole standard.
Where it goes further
Pages are revisited when rates, permits or schedules move, rather than left to age quietly with a fresh date on top.
The ground covered
Lombok, the Gilis, and the water between
Lombok sits directly east of Bali and spans roughly 4,725 square kilometres — quiet beaches on one coast, surf and headlands on another, and a volcano in the middle of both.
- Kuta Lombok and Selong Belanak on the south coast, for surf and long sand
- Gili Trawangan, roughly a 20-minute boat ride off the north-west
- Mount Rinjani, Indonesia\'s second-highest volcano, behind the north
- Fast boat from Bali, about 2.5 hours across the strait
- The Komodo route east, for guests continuing by sea

Being useful
Where we help, and where we do not
What we do
Shortlist stays and boats against your dates, sequence the days so tides and transfers actually line up, and stay on one thread from the first message to the last drop-off.
What we do not do
Quote a price nobody has checked this season, describe a property no one has been inside, or call a coast quiet in the week it plainly is not.
If you only need one thing
Ask for it on its own. A single airport transfer or one boat day is an ordinary request here — nothing has to be turned into a package to be worth answering.
The desk
Four things, one conversation
Stays
Private villas and resorts, shortlisted by coast and by what the week is actually for — surf, quiet, family or recovery after a sailing.
Water
Day charters, sailing and liveaboard cabins, including the Lombok–Komodo crossings and the Gili runs in between.
Land days
Waterfalls, the Rinjani foothills, villages, markets and the south-east bays, with a guide and a driver who know the timing.
Getting there
Airport meet-and-greet, harbour runs, fast-boat connections and day-hire drivers, planned against the rest of the itinerary.
All four sit on one thread. If you are already talking to us about a villa, the boat and the car belong in the same conversation rather than a new one.

The desk
Ask us something specific
The quickest way to judge whether this is useful is to ask a real question — a coast, a date, a boat. You will get a straight answer, including when the answer is no.
