On the whole boat, for two
On a phinisi we reserve the entire vessel and often use only the master suite, keeping the other cabins closed. You are paying for the boat, not for beds you will not sleep in.
Where it goes further
Final landing spots and timings sit inside current park regulations, which do change. We work to them rather than promising a stop we cannot guarantee.
Route options
Some couples want a compact Komodo loop; others want the sense of a journey that starts in Lombok or Bali. The trade is always sea time against island time.

Our most requested shape: the classic eastbound structure, run privately. It respects the real distances on the Lombok–Komodo axis while still giving you prime sunrise and sunset windows at Padar and Pink Beach.

Fly straight to Flores and stay inside the park. More time at anchor and less open sea: island-hopping between Padar, Komodo, Rinca, Siaba, Sebayur, Tatawa and Gili Lawa Darat, with repeat visits to the spots you like.

One-way or round-trip charters that can leave from Benoa, cross to Lombok and Sumbawa, take in quiet north-coast anchorages, then finish in Labuan Bajo or return to Bali.

The core route
A sample flow, and entirely customisable. The point of chartering is that breakfast can move if you would rather sleep.
Day 1
An afternoon departure from Bangsal or Senggigi, sunset cocktails off northern Lombok or the Sumbawa coast, and a first night under way or at anchor.
Day 2
Swimming and snorkelling off Sumbawa's reefs and quiet bays, then the long leg east. A slow day, deliberately.
Day 3
A dawn or late-afternoon hike on Padar for the three-bay view, then the coloured sand and snorkelling at Pink Beach or a nearby cove.
Day 4
A morning walk with a ranger on Komodo or Rinca, drift snorkelling at Manta Point if conditions allow, then into Labuan Bajo by afternoon.
On the longer crossings from Bali, distance and fuel are the honest constraints. Where a week is tight we usually suggest a shorter Komodo-only charter with a domestic flight either side instead.

The published guide is $5,000 to $15,000 for three to seven days. Most couples land in one of these three patterns.
Compact
Labuan Bajo out and back on a comfortable phinisi. Higher-end yachts, a spa therapist or a photo package push it above the band.

A 4D3N private Komodo-only charter on a mid-range phinisi is typically quoted around $7,500. We do not publish fixed prices per named vessel because yacht allocation in Komodo moves constantly; you get a line-item proposal for your dates instead.

Before you book
If open-water crossings and nights at anchor sound appealing rather than daunting, the Lombok or Bali routes give you the sense of a journey — sunsets at sea, Sumbawa bays nobody else stops in, and arriving at Komodo by water rather than by plane.
Fly into Labuan Bajo and take a three or four night Komodo-only loop: shorter crossings and more protected bays. Ask for a larger, more stable phinisi or motor yacht, and let us plan more overnights in sheltered anchorages.
Who this suits
Couples who prefer privacy to a shared schedule, who value good food, quiet service and flexible timing over entertainment, and who enjoy snorkelling and light hikes rather than an intense diving programme. Honeymoons, mini-moons after a Bali ceremony, anniversaries, proposals and vow renewals are the usual occasions.
Booking
Something as loose as "four nights Komodo-only from Labuan Bajo, sometime in July" or "4D3N Lombok to Labuan Bajo after our Bali wedding" is enough to start.
This is what filters the list to realistic boats. "Ideally under $9,000 total" and "happy to invest more for higher-end design" lead to very different shortlists.
No night crossings, indoor air-conditioned dining, one special deck dinner, basic photo coverage, soft adventure over maximum sightseeing — whatever actually matters.

Once the yacht and itinerary are agreed we block the dates against a deposit, with the balance due closer to departure as the contract sets out.
There is no instant booking button on this product, and that is deliberate: yacht availability, weather windows and your own preferences all move the answer.
